Roots…
‘ Our founder, Nat, was traveling in Myanmar in 2015 for coffee sourcing and came across with shiny-leaved wild coffee in Chin State. From the first cup of undiscovered Chin coffee she felt that she had been offered all secrets of that region.
Staying there for some weeks, she experienced impoverished living conditions first-hand, rooting in deforestation and slash-and-burn agricultural practices. This was her motivation starting the Myanmar coffee project and the beginning of an incredible story of social empowerment. ‘ Coffee from Chin Litaï – The Secret of Myanmar ‘
